Quick answer
An online psychological consultation is a video meeting that feels like an ordinary conversation in the office — only without the commute and with more flexibility.
- Who is it for? For people who want to talk about stress, anxiety, burnout, relationships, self-esteem, or who are going through a difficult time.
- How does it work? We agree on a date, you connect from a safe place and we talk for 50 minutes (sometimes shorter for the first “check-in”).
- How do I prepare? All you need is a quiet place, a stable internet connection and 2–3 sentences about what brings you.
Online psychological consultations – what they are like and are they right for you?
If the thought of an “in-person” visit holds you back, you have no time for travelling, or you simply prefer to talk in a place you know – online consultations can be a good start. I run them so that they are focused, safe and free of pressure. We concentrate on what helps you function better here and now.
Who are online consultations for?
This is a form of support for people who want to:
- cope better with stress and anxiety (including tension in the body, worrying, panic attacks),
- get on top of overload and professional burnout,
- improve relationships, communication and setting boundaries (relationships and closeness),
- strengthen their self-esteem and self-confidence,
- get through a difficult moment, a crisis, a change or a “bend in the road” in life,
- begin a conversation in calmer conditions (sometimes this is the most important first step).

What does an online psychological consultation look like, step by step?
- We agree on a date – you will find the details under Contact.
- You connect from a safe place – ideally somewhere you have privacy and can speak freely.
- The conversation (usually 50 minutes) – at the start we set a goal: how will you know that the sessions are helping you?
- Summary and plan – at the end we gather the most important conclusions and agree on small, realistic steps for the next week or two.
How to prepare so that the session is comfortable
- Find a place where no one will interrupt you (headphones often help a lot).
- Check your internet connection and camera 5 minutes beforehand.
- If you like, write down 3 things: what brings me here, what I need, what would be a small improvement.
- You do not need to have the “full story” – we start with what matters most to you today.
Do online consultations “work”?
In practice, what matters is not the place but the quality of the conversation: a sense of safety, of being understood, and working towards concrete goals. For many people online has an advantage: it is easier to start, and regularity is simpler (because there is no commuting).
Privacy and safety
Your conversation is confidential. If you are worried about privacy at home, a simple solution often works: headphones plus a walk somewhere quiet, or talking from a car (as long as you feel safe and can concentrate).

FAQ – online consultations
How long does an online consultation last?
Most often 50 minutes. If you need a shorter meeting to start with (e.g. 30 minutes), that can be arranged too.
Which platform is the meeting held on?
You receive clear instructions and a link to the meeting. If you have a preference (e.g. Google Meet), it can usually be accommodated.
Do I have to turn my camera on?
It is worth it, because it makes contact easier. If it feels difficult at first, you can begin without the camera – the most important thing is that you feel safe.
What if I do not have privacy at home?
Headphones, a quiet walk or talking from a car often solve the problem. If needed, we will look for the best arrangement.
Is online suitable for teenagers?
Yes – sometimes it is an even easier format to start with. What matters is that the teenager has space to talk and feels at ease.
How often do we meet online?
It depends on the goal and the topic. Most often we start with a weekly or fortnightly rhythm and adjust as we go.
What if I need to cancel a session?
Just let me know as soon as possible – we will agree a new date.
